A Word From Our Founder
I founded Portus after more than thirty years spent developing, transforming and operating port organisations and major infrastructure. My intention was to place that experience at the service of decision-makers facing complex choices with long consequences.
In our field, the quality of the studies is not enough. A strategy also has to account for institutional realities, financial balances, the way responsibilities are shared and the practical conditions of its implementation.
Ports can no longer be considered in isolation from logistics corridors, industrial development and the energy transition. These dimensions have to be thought through together, because the decisions taken today will shape territories and trade for several decades.
